Project Interface Discussion

My final project design being to create an interface that will link the three people, those being the promoter, the artist and the crowd together. Discussions with my lecturer were done where I was to design an interface which would hold these three together.

SKETCHES OF INTERFACE DESIGN

Discussions were made to make this interface in a way where the promoter or organizer of the event were be able place in key parameters such as :

  • Date
  • Locations
  • Artist(s) performing
  • Price of ticketing
  • Time
Such of these criteria are to be placed by the promoter of the event. These are only going to be accessible by the promoter ONLY. This is going to be built in such a way that any other promoter can use it and may change the details for example, the date of an event or the artists performing.

Then from the audience side, we talked about how we are going to have a section where they would be 2 groups of people, those who attending the show and those that wont make it. The certain parameters that we looked from those that would attend the show were:
  • Having VIP access to early arrival
  • Backstage passes
  • Allowed phone access to take pictures, videos etc.
Thereafter, we discussed on what would the outsiders of the event benefit. Those that wouldnt make it to the show. We then came up with these points which could benefit:
  • They would have a live stream of the show or the event. They would obviously have to pay some fee to access this way of viewing the show.
  • Have a complimentary gift, maybe access to stream their album or single or album. More encouraging for them to be like more connected with the artist and not to feel left out.
These were just some of the points that we managed to key out in the discussions and use these as a platform which I was going to use to have my interface design and then from there everything will be clear from then onwards.

CV Samples & Creation

With the ending of our 3 year semester, we were told to look at CV samples that caught our attention and analyze the most common things that stand out in each of these CVs and from there we look at the designs and how most common /popular CVs are handled and are made to have an exception when handed over to employers and how to give a first big good impression when our very own CVs will be sent.

SAMPLES OF CVs

From the samples of Cvs above, these are the ones that managed to get my attention because of the style of design, the ideation and the tyopgraphy used. The all clean, simple neat design is what I was looking for all in a graphic sense to give it that refreshing look as can see from the samples with more of the white background and the play with color to give it that fresh feel.

Concerning making resumes, visual architects are fortunate. Relatively few fields take into consideration potential workers to straightforwardly exhibit their work-related abilities with the resume itself. Baked good culinary experts don't get to heat their resumes into a cake, educators can't dole out their resumes as homework, and legal counselors aren't given the opportunity to safeguard their resumes to a jury.
We then had the task of looking at the common factors or tips that were necessary when sending in our CVs. These are key tips that should or would make our Cvs stand out more than others. Some of these are listed below:

  • KEEP IT BRIEF
You've done a ton of awesome things with your life, both professionally and by and by yet not every one of your accomplishments needs to be recorded in your resume. Keep it basic. The individual perusing your resume needs to experience a few candidates, and if your resume is excessively long or excessively thick, you'll harm your possibilities of making an impression.

Think about your resume like a depiction a solitary photo can tell a nitty gritty, clear story without requiring incidental subtle elements. Your resume is similar to a depiction of your whole expert profession up to this point. It's similar to a highlight reel that shows just the best of the best.

The best continues are a solitary page, if conceivable. It's totally alright to overflow onto two pages if important, yet its generally a smart thought to have an one-page variant of your resume prepared to go on the off chance that a business tags that they just need to see one-page resumes.

  • BE HONEST
In the past "everyone" misrepresented on their resumes, yet that was before Google was concocted. Nowadays, bosses and customers can and will discover everything there is to think around an originator before meeting expectations with them, so fight the temptation to adorn.

For one thing, in case you're gotten in your own untruth, its going to essentially invalidate your shots of landing the position. Yet the other variable you need to consider is that bosses are going to hold you to whatever ability level you claim to have. In the event that you can't convey the outcomes they expect, the occupation may not keep going long regardless of the possibility that you get it.

  • SUBMITTING WORK TO COMPETITIONS
Having a few honors added to your repertoire surely helps fabricating a notoriety and getting under the radar craftsmanship chiefs and editors. It will likewise help a reluctant innovative chief to settle on a choice on picking you over an alternate capable planner.

  • START YOUR OWN PROJECTS
"You're innovative." You can do as such numerous things as an inventive individual, so if no entryways are yet opening then make your own ventures.

Separate your day between searching for conventional approaches to get your work out while additionally making your own ventures. These could be ebooks, postcards, incredible pack symbols with the expectation of complimentary dispersion, CMS subjects, anything you can think off to kick you off.

Doing things all alone is dangerous however beneficial. There is positively justify on making your own chances. The apparatuses to interface with companions, associates and similar individuals are accessible, and you can unreservedly investigate your imagination and aptitudes utilizing them. This new online society we watch today is changing the guidelines of the amusement, so get on board and make it work for you.

  • SHOW YOUR RESULTS
Make a point to be nitty gritty when discussing your past work encounters and customers. Spotters need to realize what you accomplished for past head honchos, yet its insufficient to simply list a group of undertakings that you were in charge of. You likewise need to incorporate the consequences of your diligent work.

Trying to say that you helped a past customer run a print battle isn't going to energize anybody. However demonstrating that your print outlines helped commute up deals and changes will doubtlessly stand out just enough to be noticed. In the event that you can give particular insights to move down your cases, you'll make a much greater impression.
  • CONSIDER AN INFO-GRAPHIC
Who doesn't adore an infographic? They separate master plan thoughts into simple to-process focuses, and do as such in a manner that is stimulating and energizing. A ton of the best visual computerization resumes contain the best components of info graphics, and a few originators have exceeded expectations at totally changing over their resumes into an infographic organization.
Tread precisely on the off chance that you choose to go this course. In the event that you concentrate excessively on the visual configuration, you'll run the danger of eclipsing the essential data your resume contains. In the event that you go too far-removed the most common way to go, you may discover scouts aren't generally perusing your resume whatsoever. Keep in mind, these individuals frequently have heaps of resumes to deal with, so if your resume requires more exertion than most to peruse, its going to appear to be a negative.

At the end of the day, you want a resume that you can stand behind—something that you like and that you think fairly and accurately represents your personal styles and tastes. You may find that what you like and what your potential employers and clients like are wildly different.
But that’s okay. Because sometimes recruiters will be able to look past their own personal tastes and see your true potential.
Other times, they’ll pass on you and go with someone they think is the best choice for their brand. Rejection is an unfortunate part of the process, but in the long run, it helps you to find a career that’s the best fit for you. Otherwise, if you fall into a job that’s not a good match you’ll just be updating your resume and doing it all again in the near future.
